Rationale for going- Students will learn about dinosaurs, wildlife, shells, and they will get the chance to interact with science first-hand. Chaperone ratio- 1 adult per 5 students. Lunch Facility- eat in school bus.
2.Georgia Youth Science & Technology Center:Contact Info: http://www.shenandoahgystc.org/ASP/fieldtrips.asp. Admission: $3.50 per member student and $5.25 for non-members. Chaperone Ratio: Not listed. Lunch Facility: Grass area outside. Rationale: Programs vary by grade level; sound, geology, matter, etc…
3.CENTER ART EXHIBIT: PLANT PORTRAITS BY A.R. VALENTIEN Callaway :Grades: K to 12th (limit 60 students)Time: 20 minutes. Location: Discovery Center. Months Offered: December, January, February. Go through a gallery of 80 paintings of plants native to California. Many of the activities should be transferable to Georgia Teaching Standards.
4. Teaching Museum: 689 North Ave. Hapeville, Ga. 30354. Ph: 404-669-8015 Cost: Free Chaperone ratio: one adult for every five students. Lunch facility: bring your own lunches. Rational: I would take students there because it features displays of native Georgian history and will allow the students to view many different artifacts and examine the evolution of transportation in South Fulton County.

Rationale for going- Students will get the chance to learn about what goes on behind the stage. This will be a great learning experience!

Lunch facility- Students will eat sack lunches at Centennial Park. Chaperone Ratio- five students per chaperone. Rationale for going- Students will be able to see art work first-hand.
10. Stone Mountain- Cost-$15 per student. Chaperone ratio- one chaperone for every 5 students. Lunch facility- Students will eat lunch there at the picnic tables. Rationale for going- Children will learn about the history of our state.
